Our thriller has to have a certification so I have been thinking about what is in the film and what will be the age barrier. I think that it will probably be a 12A. I cant find too much about certification from the net so we will have to use our own general knowledge to see what the thriller will come out as. Our thriller may be quite scary which may also make the age requirement bump up a little, we need to take everything into account.
Certification is required to "protect" the target audience and is a definite requirement, it helps stop younger viewers watching something too gory, mature or explicit for their age.
