One Hour Photo

In comparison to the titles of 'Silence of the Lambs' and 'One Hour Photo' in a recent lesson, I felt the titles related to the film more in 'One Hour Photo'. I did like how 'Silence of the Lambs' set the desired atmosphere with an eary setting of a woods, however I felt it didn't hold any relevance to the story of this particular thriller until Jodie Foster runs onto screen. 'One Hour Photo' was more effective in the way that the main theme of the film was intergrated with the titles. The visual titles were made to look like the development of a photo, flashing on screen like the flash when a picture is taken, and then the writing turning red representing a dark room which is the traditional way in which a photo is developed. I felt this was an influence as to how we would create our titles and just like the film 'Seven', it would give an idea as to the events to come in the film. I will however take influence from the way 'Silence of the Lambs' set a scary atmosphere which was very effective on the audience.
